Director's Message
It is with great pride that I reflect on the significance of the Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at Mukabbir University of Science & Technology, Gujrat. This office serves as a catalyst for educational transformation, inspiration, and the establishment of valuable connections among universities and various industries.
Started in Ist August, 2025 at, Mukabbir University of science& Technology, Gujrat. ORIC is an integral part of our strategic goals. Our mission is to enhance the university’s research, innovation, and entrepreneurial capabilities, ensuring they resonate with the educational, social, and economic aspirations of both the university and the broader community.
Our aim is to go beyond simply improving the research culture and capacity within the university, we are dedicated to building strong ties with industry, generating valuable intellectual property, and supporting innovative projects through research and commercialization. Additionally, we seek to encourage collaborative research across disciplines. I am confident that we will rise to these challenges and achieve remarkable success in the diverse fields we are exploring.

Connects university research with industry by promoting commercialization, innovation, entrepreneurship, intellectual property development, mentorship, training, and research support resources..
International Collaboration
Promotes collaboration among academia, industry, and research organizations to encourage innovation, applied research, knowledge transfer, commercialization, and funding opportunities.
Seminars & Conferences
Organizes national and international seminars and conferences to strengthen research culture, facilitate expert engagement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge dissemination.
MOUs & Industrial Linkage
Establishes formal partnerships with external organizations to enhance industry-academia collaboration, joint research, innovation, knowledge exchange, and commercialization.
ORIC Research Bank & Training Hub
The ORIC Research Bank & Training Hub is a centralized institutional platform established under the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) to strengthen research capacity, ensure data integrity, and provide continuous professional development for faculty, students, and research staff. The hub will function as both a knowledge repository and a skills development center, supporting high-quality, ethical, and impactful research aligned with national and international standards.
Objectives
- To create a central digital research repository for projects, datasets, publications, theses, patents, and policy briefs.
- To provide continuous training in research methodologies, grant writing, data management, IP protection, and commercialization.
- To enhance research quality, visibility, and compliance with HEC, funding agencies, and international ethics standards.
- To promote interdisciplinary collaboration and industry-academia linkages.
- To support early-career researchers and postgraduate students through mentoring and capacity-building programs
