Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology at Mukabbir University of Science & Technology, Gujrat, is a comprehensive four-year program designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the scientific study of human behavior, thought processes, and emotions. Structured in line with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) curriculum, the program integrates modern trends in psychology with the ethical and spiritual guidance of Islam.

Students will study a wide range of subjects including clinical psychology, developmental psychology, counseling, social psychology, organizational psychology, and research methods. The program blends theoretical knowledge with practical training, enabling students to develop strong analytical, research, and professional skills.

To support experiential learning, the department offers a modern Psychology Laboratory equipped with standardized tests, assessment tools, and practical apparatus. Our spacious, well-furnished classrooms are fitted with projectors, whiteboards, and air conditioning, providing a comfortable and interactive learning environment. The faculty consists of a PhD Assistant Professor and experienced lecturers with MS qualifications, ensuring a balance of academic expertise and practical insight.

A distinctive feature of this program is the career pathways it opens. Graduates of BS Psychology from MUST will be eligible to:

  • Join the Armed Forces as Psychologists, contributing to mental health, selection, and training programs.
  • Serve as Psychologists in Punjab Prisons at the Government level, supporting offender rehabilitation and counseling.
  • Work independently as child psychologists, counselors, and therapists, or establish their own mental health centers.
  • Excel in teaching and research, contributing to academia and policymaking.
  • Work in schools, hospitals, industries, NGOs, and rehabilitation centers, both nationally and internationally.

The BS Psychology program at Mukabbir University of Science & Technology is a four-year degree offered at our main campus on Bhimber Road, Gujrat. Classes are held Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, ensuring a full-time academic experience. Admission is open to candidates who have completed Intermediate (FA/FSc or equivalent) with at least 50% marks. The program and degree are fully recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan.
