The approved Pharm.D. curriculum has been designed to prepare

Program’s Outcome
Doctor of Pharmacy programs prepare students to become skilled pharmacists capable of providing expert pharmaceutical care. With this program, students gain scientific knowledge as well as practical clinical skills that enable them to serve in a crucial role in the healthcare field.
It’s typically a five-year degree program, students are introduced to a variety of subjects such as pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics, clinical pharmacy, and healthcare ethics. The curriculum includes classroom learning, laboratory work, and extensive hands-on clinical experiences.

- The candidate seeking admission to Doctor of Pharmacy program must have passed F.Sc. (pre- Medical) with Minimum 60% marks, as per Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.
- 50% marks in both university entry test and interview
- Wherever a candidate has equivalent qualification, s/he is required to submit equivalence certificate issued by the Inter-Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) in the case of HSSCE and its beyond from Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad.
Graduates can work as hospital pharmacists, community pharmacists, clinical researchers, drug inspectors, regulatory officers, pharmaceutical sales and marketing professionals, or pursue further studies in pharmacy specialties.
