Program Overview

The Department of Islamic Studies aims to become a world-class hub for Islamic knowledge that promotes an excellent environment for research, teaching, and learning. The department’s curriculum not only provides an understanding of traditional Islamic sciences like the Quran and Hadith, but also includes modern and practical topics to address contemporary challenges such as terrorism, fundamentalism, and sectarianism. Our goal is to equip students with the ethical and intellectual capabilities to play an active and positive role in all aspects of life.

Our BS and MPhil(Islamic Thought & Contemporary Challenges) programs are designed to provide students with both academic and practical training. The curriculum gives special importance to topics such as “Contemporary Muslim Society and Global Challenges,” “Interfaith Dialogue,” and “Contemporary Challenges to Islamic Thought.” Additionally, we teach students to use modern technology, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to gain expertise in contemporary research and the creation of digital content.

Our BS and M. Phil(Islamic thought & Contemporary Challenges) programs are meticulously designed to provide our students with the best academic and practical training. Our curriculum not only includes an understanding of traditional sciences like the Quran and Hadith but also incorporates contemporary issues such as “Contemporary Muslim Society and Global Challenges,” “Interfaith Dialogue,” and “Contemporary Challenges to Islamic Thought.” Moreover, we teach students to use modern technology (ICT) to gain expertise in Islamic research and the creation of digital content.

Our goal is not just to grant you a degree, but to impart such ethical and intellectual capabilities that will empower you to make your mark in the world. The skills we teach, including critical thinking, ethics, and the application of Islamic teachings in practical life, prepare you for a wide range of professional opportunities.
